Ade Oshineye is a graduate student of creative writing from the Royal Central School of Speech and Dramas Writing for Performance programme. Whilst studying at Central Ade was taught by celebrated playwrights such as Tanika Gupta, Vinay Patel and Tim Crouch.
In Ade’s final year at Central he wrote, performed and co-produced a spoken-word infused play, entitled “Of Seas & Skies”. The play was performed at the Cockpit theatre and received some very encouraging feedback from it’s audience.
Before gaining his degree in writing for performance, Ade trained as an actor at East 15 acting school. Ade was drawn to East 15’s teaching style of method acting due to the schools affiliation with Joan Littlewood, and his local area, Stratford in Newham. During his time at East 15 Ade was taught screen acting by Jonathan Firth and Richard Graham respectively.
Ade’s main ambition is to emigrate to the United States, where he has ties to the community of Orlando Florida, in the not too distant future. Once there Ade hopes to run a theatre company from his uncles event Centre and art gallery (Three Masks Inc.)
Ade’s long term goal is to follow in the footsteps of his
artistic mentor Joan Littlewood. Similarly to Miss Littlewood, Ade believes in the “Power of the community”, as well as in discovering “The genius in
