Alexandra Donnachie

Alexandra was born and bred in South London and trained at the University of Northampton and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
She is an award-nominated actress and writer. As an actress, Alexandra has performed in various venues across the UK such as Battersea Arts Centre , Hampstead Theatre and the Royal & Derngate and her television credits include playing Sylvia Pankhurst in Suffragettes with Lucy Worsley (BBC One).
Alexandra currently plays series regular, Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Tate, in the award-winning Dark Shadows audio drama and has appeared in numerous audio dramas for Big Finish and Audible.
As a writer-performer, Alexandra – and her sister – enjoyed a successful run of their autobiographical play, 3 Years, 1 Week and a Lemon Drizzle at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018. Alexandra’s one-woman show, When We Died is currently under development. When We Died was longlisted for the Bruntwood prize in 2017.
