Clare Anyiam-Osigwe graduated from a joint BA in Drama, Film and TV in 2006. She worked as a makeup artist evenings and weekends to pay her rent whilst studying drama. She landed a few small TV roles on on Sky and ITV.
Clare felt that the future looked bleak so left the acting world to pursue a career in Beauty. She opened her own brand PremaeUK in 2011 and became a royally honoured dermatologist winning 16 awards. In October 2017 after a conversation with a friend about dating in the black community and her trials and tribulations, Clare wrote a short film script within 2 days and then developed it over 6 weeks. She directed the film in 6 days and it was released onto cinemas June 2018 with rave reviews from the press and audiences alike.
Clare looks forward to acting, writing and directing film and tv all over the world.
