Igor Kerstich
A London based actor of Italian and Croatian descent, Igor grew up in Italy, but lived and worked in the UK and in the Middle East. After graduating at the school of the Teatro Marrucino in Italy, he moved to London where he earned a drama foundation diploma, and studied Meisner technique with renowned Meisner maestro Scott Williams for a number of years.
Fluent in Italian, Arabic and English, he has a strong ear for accents, including a number of Italian and Arabic regional variations. He is 6’3″ tall, and has experience both on stage and on screen. Recent credits include a leading role in the Italian feature film “Il Ballo delle Meduse”, and guest roles in the TV series Dispatches and in the music video Rupture by Tropics.
Theatre work includes leading roles in Macbeth, Othello, Ives’ Venus in Fur, Pirandello’s Six Characters in Search of an Author, Stoppard’s Dogg’s Hamlet – Cahoot’s Macbeth. Igor has also acted in a number of British commercials and short films. He is a founding member of the “Ars in Fieri” theatre company, a member of the Artisti 7607 collective, a Kurosawa enthusiast and a skilled guitarist. He is into sociology, graphic noves and Arabic music.
