Marcio Mello

Marcio completed his degree in acting at Macunaíma Drama School in São Paulo, Brazil in 1995. He came to London in 1996 to study physical theatre with Desmond Jones and Phillipe Gaulier. He later went on to study with Antonio Fava in Italy before being accepted at Central School of Speech and Drama in 2003. His credits include Chekhov’s “Bear”‘, The Servant of Two Masters’ (Hampstead Theatre), ‘100’ (touring), ‘Lost Tango’ (feature), “Lock-in” (Feature), ‘As you Like It’ (Oval Theatre), ‘Arturo Ui’ (Teatro Oficina, São Paulo), ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’, ‘Maresia’ (The Space),  ‘Women of Troy’ (Teatro Sergio Cardoso, São Paulo), ‘Ward 6’ (Red Lion Theatre), ‘The Asphalt Kiss’ (New Diorama Theatre) and ‘Killers’ (SKY TV). Marcio has also been working as a voice-over artist for many years and has recently written and produced a sitcom about the lives of the Brazilians in London. Marcio is the winner of the Press Awards in London in 2013.
