Marie-Claire Wood

Marie-Claire is a London-based actress who has recently graduated from Rose Bruford BA Acting. During her time at drama school she played Helena in Midsummer Night’s Dream, Carolyn in Blue Stockings, Ava in The Suicide and Isla in The Dwellers. As well as performing in the school own play festival in a production of Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again.

Marie-Claire grew up in Salisbury in the British countryside and attended a prestigious choir school with all-rounder scholarships all the way through her education. Alongside acting she has strong singing voice, with classical and MT training, having performed professionally with her own MT quartet called Coda before drama school. She has a wide vocal range having from playing Anita in West Side Story to Christine in Phantom of the Opera pre-drama school, and enjoys exploring a variety of styles. She also recently attained her intermediate BADC stage combat qualification and was awarded a Merit.

In her spare time she enjoys writing plays and poetry, composing songs and learning the piano.
