Timo Teern

Timo is a Finnish – Estonian actor, born in a small village on an island in Estonia. He always had dreams of pursuing a career of a performer and already in his childhood he got involved in drama clubs and events. In his teenage years Timo moved to Finland and there he had a career working with children in elementary schools and child protection services, occasionally performing in events or seen in TV-series such as Downshiftaajat by Yellow Film & TV. Timo studied acting in the Foundation course of Helsinki Theatre Academy and excited by the course he wanted to pursue acting even further. So he dropped his career in child protection services and moved to the UK with his wife and daughter to study acting in a high quality drama school.

Now Timo is a proud 2019 graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Based in Birmingham with his wife and daughter, Timo has worked on a short film with documentary maker Sean McGrail, a VICE online series with Oobah Butler and currently working on a feature film by Two Hats Films.

Timo speaks four languages and is trained in stage combat. A dream role would be from a Lord of the Rings style fantasy film. A 6’4″ viking with a broadsword skill, would fit right in.

Being a nordic actor, Timo loves nature and on his free time spends as much time outdoors as he can. Swimming in a frozen lake during winter and then a piping hot sauna is one of his favorite things to do.
