Verônica Sarno is a Brazilian actress graduated with distinction from Drama Centre London in the MA Acting course, which included two months training in Russia at the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute. In Brazil she attended one of the most prestigious BA Acting courses at Escola Superior de Artes Célia Helena. Her professional debut was in the award winning production “Sem Pensar” the Brazilian version of the English play “Spur of the Moment” by Anya Reiss. The play was on at one of the most important theatres in São Paulo and toured Brazil for a year. It was directed by the veteran film director Luiz Villaça and starred the accomplished actress Denise Fraga. In London, Verônica has worked in the films “Now and Then”, “Tent Pegs”, “Once more with Filling” and “Alien Rage”, in the pilot episode for the TV series “PUMPS”, in the commercial “Kid on a Bus” and in the play “Before the Sun Rises” at Theatre 503. Alongside her acting career Verônica also works as an acting teacher and voice coach.
In 2017 Verônica received the Best Upcoming Actress Award in the ACESC Brazilian Theatre Festival and recently she has finished filming the feature “Haraam”.
