Alexandra is a dual citizen of the UK and US with a vibrant multicultural background and upbringing. She spent her early years in her grandfather’s native Turkey, before moving to London and falling in love with its rich theatre scene, performing at the Almeida, Roundhouse and Pleasance theatres with their young companies since her early teens.
Growing up in a multilingual household (and with a West Country dad), she has an ear for accents and languages and speaks fluent French and Mandarin, in addition to her mother tongue – English.
Her background and interest in different cultures has given her the opportunity to call a number of cities home while growing up, including Taipei, Beijing and Istanbul. She now divides her time between London and Paris.
She graduated from Cambridge University where she spent most of her time in the theatre, acting and performing character and improv comedy, while juggling a degree and rowing. She continued her formal acting training at the Jacques Lecoq School in Paris, and Identity School of Acting.
Alexandra is also a voiceover artist and writer.
