Amy is an Irish Actress and Sketch Comedy Writer based in London. She is Graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting 2013. She has also trained in Screen Acting at Bow Street.
She made her debut in the Dublin Fringe Festival in 2012 with ‘The Circus of Perseverance’ Written and Directed by Philip Doherty,. She has since performed in ‘Theatre I hardly know her’, a devised piece with Filibusters Co, Down By Killiney Beach, a short Film directed by Emma Rock, ‘Army Ants’ Choreographed by Philippa Donnellan; a dance piece performed as part of David Bolger’s ‘Agnes’ with CoisCéim creative steps, ‘The Most Pretentious Show You’ll Ever See; A sketch Comedy which she wrote and performed in, Directed by Dara Carolan; Collaborations Festival 2014, ‘Which Way is Up?’ A one Woman Physical Comedy performed by her and co-written by herself and Hannah Harman Conlon; Collaborations Festival 2015, ‘Losing it’; Scene & Heard Festival 2016. John Mackenna’s Corner Boys, which she toured Ireland with in 2016, Broken strings; a devised piece; Scene and Heard 2017, Cult member in ‘Fair City’ 2017, ‘Alex and’ an original piece created by Gorgeous Theatre 2018. She performs regularly with Physical Theatre Company Quintessence Theatre, performing in pieces such as ‘Vessel’; a devised piece, ‘Grimm Tales for young and old as Story Teller Wilemena Grimm’, Pink Planet; Scene and heard festival 2017, The Wind in the Willows 2017 and The Deadly Wizard of Oz 2018. She wrote and performed in her own Sketch Comedy AWKWARD; in this years’ Scene and heard Fesitval(Dublin) with sketch comedy troupe MEELA GOOLA, this played at Knockanstockan Festival, Electric Picnic Festival and Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018. Most Recently she played the part of Mary in The Uk Tour of John Mackenna’s Corner Boys.
