After graduating from the BFA – Theatre Performance at University Concordia in Montreal and completing an MA at UWE – Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in England last fall 2019, Marine Laurencelle now based partly in Bristol, have been spending her time between Europe and North America. She worked both in English and French on a plethora of varied projects, from Shakespeare’s The Tempest (Gonzalo), Twelfth Night (Viola) to Constellation (Marianne) part of the One Act Festival and Three Sisters (Masha). She was Nora, A doll’s house and Irene, When we dead awaken in Secret and Lies, a rendition of Ibsen’s work. Most recently, she appeared as Grusha in emerging director Jesse Jones’ production of The Caucasian Chalk Circle at the Tobacco Factory in Bristol, as well as continuing work with the company she co-founded, Boulouki Theatre (Medeamaterial). Highly skilled in physical theatre and stage performance, Marine is a very versatile actor and artist.
